Help create the 40-foot Mobile Mural – LES Sustainable Ecosystem with Earth Celebrations’ Artist-in-Residence Katherine Freygang. The Mobile Mural includes 6 sections celebrating the gardens and neighborhood, 2 sections of East River Park, Stuyvesant Cove and East River (species and what is on and in the river). The Mobile Mural will be featured in the culminating Earth Celebrations’ Ecological City: Procession for Climate Solutions on Saturday, May 11, 2019, featuring spectacular visual art, giant puppets, costumes and 20 site-performances celebrating climate resiliency and ecological sustainability initiatives throughout the community gardens and East River Park waterfront park on the Lower Side.
