P/T Coordinator position available with Earth Celebrations, a non-profit organization engaging communities to generate ecological & social change through the arts and our Ecological City -Art & Climate Solutions Action project, applying our cultural strategies to engage community and mobilize action on local climate solutions initiatives.

Skills: theatrical-arts-event production and coordination, logistics management, and community engagement.

Responsibilities:
– Manages project logistics, event production and community engagement.
– Oversees and manages art & Climate solution workshops and artist residencies, materials purchases and coordination of community participants.
– Supervises interns and production volunteers.

Qualifications:
– BFA, MFA, or BA
– Ability to manage production logistics and lead a team of volunteer and community participants.
– Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Suites.

Interest and Background: community-based arts/theater, creative placemaking, community outreach/organizing, environmental and climate issues, urban planning and activism.

Part-Time: minimum 12-24 hours per week from January – May $17-19 per hour (Jan-May: Tuesday-Thursday 10am-2pm) (March-May adding: Saturdays 11am-4pm)
